Choosing a Soccer Team Uniform

soccer team uniformThere are many factors involved in the selection of your Soccer Team Uniform. Selecting color(s) just is one of them. Of course, choosing a color is a subjective experience, and everyones personal tastes are different. Other factors to consider are team name, any colors or logo’s that represent the town, school or area with which the team is affiliated. Soccer Team Uniforms come not only in varied colors, but a range of different materials and fabrics as available as well.

All of the above factors can come into play when deciding which Soccer Team Uniform will look best. Remember, it is also customary for soccer teams to wear different primary colors for home and away games. Often teams will choose the reverse colours for their home and way strips, for example if home colors are blue with white trim, then you will probably need away jerseys that are white with blue trim, this is not a firm rule but more a tradition.

When it comes to selecting shorts for your Soccer Team Uniform, in addition to choosing colors that complement the team jersey, be sure to find a style of shorts that is neither too baggy, nor too tight fitting. Shorts should be loose enough to keep players cool but not so loose that they hamper movement.

Remember that your goalie will wear a different soccer team uniform than the rest of the team. Because the goalie is the only player allowed to handle the ball, the goalie is normally required to dress in a different color scheme so that the referees can easily identify them from the rest of the players. Also, goalie soccer team uniforms tend to have padded shorts and shirts that will help absorb some of the impact that are likely to come. Additionally, goalie team shirts are usually long sleeved, even if the rest of the team are wearing short sleeves.

The final soccer team uniform kit, is the socks. Soccer socks should be long and flexible enought to hold shinguards in place, and obviously colors should be chosen to complement the shorts and jersey colors and design.
